The Flag hoisting ceremony was celebrated at Ideal Institute
of Technology, Ghaziabad on the occasion of the Republic Day 26 Jan, 2009. The Flag
was hoisted by the Chairman of the Institute Mr. Shubash Chand Gupta and other members
of the management committee. The Director , Dr.G.P. Govil , Ms. Suman Kaushik (Dean
student welfare) and HODs of different
departments, faculty members, staff members and students were also present.
A debate competition was also organized on this occasion. The Topic of the debate was “How Successful is the sacrifice of our freedom fighters?”.The Students of Ideal Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, IPEC, Ghaziabad, and IME Ghaziabad and others participated in the debate. The
Chief Guest of the function were Mr.Rakesh Sharma, SDM Ghaziabad, Mr.Ravindra Singh,
Distt. School Officer, Ghaziabad.
On that occasion, the Management Committee of Ideal Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad headed by Sh. Shubash Chand Gupta and other members were also present. Dr. G.P. Govil, the Director, expressed his views on the Republic day and its significance.
