A Workshop on Autonomous Robot

September 8th – 10th, 2009

Industry Institute Partnership Cell – Ideal Institute of Technology organized a three days workshop on “Autonomous Robot” September, 8th to 10th 2009 in collaboration with Sapro Robotics.

Contents of the workshop:

·         Introduction to Autonomous Robotics.

·         Robot Locomotion, Actuators, motor drivers, Sensors, etc.

·         AVR micro controller programming and interfacing.

·         Introduction to Embedded system.

·         Design and analysis of different algorithm.

·         Implementation of line follower and Grid solving robot.

A robotic kit, Tutorials, Datasheets, CD (Software and other material) were provided to all the participating students. Free membership of Sapro Robotics has also been offered to the participants.

Eleven teams each having three students were participated in the workshop. Every team made a Line Follower Robot.
