Workshop on “Ethical Hacking” organized at Ideal Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad on 10 Oct 2009

A workshop on “Ethical Hacking” was organized at Ideal Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad on 9th and 10th of October, 2009. The workshop was organized by the Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) which is an AICTE funded project at Ideal Institute of Technology.

The objective of the workshop was to provide the students a significant insight into the technicalities of network and server securities and the protection against threats like “Hacking” with the help of lectures and demonstrations of live hacking and technical guidance to guard one’s system email, server, etc against hacking.

More than 150 students from nearly 20 Engineering colleges in NCR region attended the workshop.

The Chairman of the Institute Sh. Subhash Chand Gupta, Sr. Vice Chairman Sh. Anil Km. Mittal, Vice Chairman Dr. A. K. Jain, Secretary Sh. Gyan Prakash Goyal, Jt. Secretary Sh. Vinod Gupta, Treasurer Sh.  Pramod Km. Gupta Jt. Traesurer Sh. Madnesh Garg Jain attended the Valedictory session of the workshop held on 10th October, 2009. The Director of the Institute Dr. G. P. Govil congratulated the organizers and appreciated the efforts being made by the trainers in training the students. Director (Management) Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Prof. N. D. Sharma, Dean Academics Dr. S. C. Gupta, other functional Heads and faculty members were also present. The Chairman distributed the certificates to the students and wished them best of luck for their future.
