The  Mechanical Engineering Department has been in existence since the inception of the Institute viz. 1998 with the intake of 90 students per year. The program of B. Tech. Mechanical Engineering was first affiliated with Dr. B R Ambedkar University, Agra. With the setting up of UPTU in the year 2000, the affiliation was transferred  to UPTU, Lucknow.

• Continuously improve results and Employability.

• Upgrade Infrastructure to facilitate initiation of PG courses & Research programme.

• Expose students to recent advances through seminars, workshops and guest speakers.

• Regularly counsel students to develop desired skills, competencies and attitude.

• Enhance competence of Faculty through Qualification Enhancement Schemes (QES).
